Apprenticeship, not often used in the IT sector, as traditionally apprenticeship have been associated with trades such as electricians, car mechanics and builders. Times are changing and it seems the Information Technology apprenticeships are a perfect way to start a career in the IT sector.
MPR IT are firm believers that our staff are the most important part of our business, and finding the right mix of all skill is very difficult. Many are specialised in on area of IT, which is great if you’re a large organisations that require specific skills, the SME market however, place has very different demands needed engineers that are capable of all aspects of IT from desktop support to server builds.
We feel the National Apprenticeship scheme allows us to not only invest in our business but the long term future of our staff and customers. Over the next few weeks we have two new apprentices starting with us, both going thought Microsoft and City and guilds courses over the next 12 months.
We are excited to be able to offer 2 spaces and look forward to both new starter’s progressing and growing with us in the coming years.
