Fibre Optic Cabling is the go to and industry standard for transferring large amounts of data quickly and over long distances and as a result is becoming far more common place in smaller Networks.
Here at MPR IT we have been installing Fibre Optic Cabling solutions for our clients for many years. As a result of this, we have gained a vast experience in both single and multi mode Fibre installations.
All of our Fibre Optic Cabling engineers are fully qualified to a minimum standard of Communications Cabling and Networks (3667) NVQ Level 2, and more importantly, hold a current Heath and Safety site certificate with a minimum level of Blue CSCS card allowing for construction site work.
MPR IT are able to install and terminate Fibre Optic Cabling including light crimp termination, fusion splicing for pig tail ends and most importantly core repairs. Furthermore, our civil engineering team are also able to dig in and install full blown tube installations.
MPR IT are able to provide full Tier-2 certification of Fibre Optic Networks either for cabling we have installed, or those that have been installed by third parties. As a result of our investments in to our diagnostics equipment, MPR IT can provide full detailed reports generated for client approval and sign off.
Finally, our top of the range OTDR Fibre Optic testing equipment, complete with light source and loss facility, allows for fast, precise and detailed fault finding and diagnostics.
- Tier-2 certification of Fibre Optic Networks that require specific testing to ISO 11801 and TIA 568-C standards.
- Perform initial validation test and then easily compare these to future tests, allowing quick faults finding.
- Meet cabling specifications as required by engineers, designers and clients.
- Dispute resolution between network equipment and configuration, versus cable installation.
