MPR IT approached the local VW, Honda and Suzuki dealer with a truly innovative idea using our tried and tested wireless hotspot solutions with a dealer portal front end for the true 27/4 car salesman!

Having multiple sites meant centralised management was imperative, along with a robust and redundant solution.

VW wanted to know more about their visitors, customers and more importantly, potential customers!

Project Solution

By using cost effective hardware from the Ubiquity Unifi range connected to back end hosted servers for authentication, user control and the portal website MRP IT was able to deliver a scalable fully managed wireless solution to VW, Honda and Suzuki customers.

When customers visit one of their showrooms and then log onto the portal they are asked to provide an email address for marketing (Opt out available) then once registered users are welcomed to the holding page JCB VW, Honda or Suzuki capture portal.

JCB can then customise what services, promotions and information is presented to the users, being a website content can quickly and easily be amended and added.

The key to the system is that details of customers accessing the site through their portal are stored within the back end of the system, from there mailshots and marketing information can be sent.

The system can go much deeper, allowing more information to be captured, sorted and used. An online service or MOT booking system could be integrated also.
