The Lalit Hotel London, is the first overseas property for India’s fastest growing private hotel firm The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group. Having risen the bar in India with 11 luxury hotels.
The site for The Lalit Group London hotel is the former St Olave’s Grammar school in Tower Bridge.
Originally designed by Edward Mountford, the architect of the Old Bailey, the Grade II-listed building will house 70 lavish guestrooms and suites, each with their own unique layout and design. Who would have predicted that the headmaster’s office – set to become a prize suite – would be the most sought-after destination in town?
MPR IT are providing to The Lalit Hotel, all of the networking infrastructure hardware from firewalls and switches to wireless controllers and access points. The network consists of 10GB fibre backbones (running at 20GB in Etherchannel), fully stacked and redundant POE switches at the access level along with a large scale frame switching solution in the core, again this has been designed with full redundancy in mind.
The IP network will be used for all of the Hotel services including real time systems such as Voice, CCTV, and the IP Television system being installed.
The Lalit Hotel is to have a full coverage Wireless LAN for guest access with the latest hardware from our industry leaders.
MPR IT are also providing and supporting the Server infrastructure, Desktop PCs and the printing solutions for all the Hotel operational systems from the core “Oracle Hospitality for Hotels and Resorts” and “Oracle Simphony POS” right through to the customer survey and feedback systems deployed in all the Lalit Hotels.
